My work comes from an interest in the everyday performance of womanhood and the elements we use to construct feminine identity.

I explore disguise and artifice in reference to psychological masking, or the code-switching between public and private self.

My creative process is influenced by our culture of observation and voyeurism in the digital age. Growing up with a third-culture experience has contributed to my curiosity about adaptability in different environments.

I am interested in the resilience of women’s relationships to our bodies, despite scrutiny and commodification. I view body freedom as a way to resist systems that deny our autonomy.
