My work comes from an interest in the everyday performance of womanhood and the elements we use to construct feminine identity.

I am interested in the resilience of women’s relationships to our bodies, despite scrutiny and commodification. I depict body freedom to resist systems that deny our autonomy.

I use disguise to reference psychological masking and the code-switching between public and private self.

My creative process is influenced by our culture of observation and voyeurism in the digital age.
